In 2021, Peru was recording some of the highest pandemic mortality rates in the world. That reality made geography a non-negotiable question for our family. We relocated to Germany — a decision shaped by our children's safety, by a conviction that Europe was the right environment to rebuild from, and by the belief that this moment demanded a deliberate pivot. The return to Senior PM was equally intentional: recommitting to my product roots, immersing in a European SaaS market, and applying a pivoting strategy to the most important product of my life — my family.

The work is shaped
by the person.
Leadership is ultimately a human endeavour. The perspective you bring to it is shaped by where you have lived, how you have communicated, what you have built, and who you have become in the process.
Jose is a multicultural leader who has spent his career navigating different cultural expectations, communication styles, and organizational realities — not as a challenge to manage, but as a genuine operational advantage. Growing up between German and Latin American influences, operating internationally in English, and speaking Spanish at home has shaped a leadership style that is naturally adaptive, contextually aware, and oriented toward building shared understanding across difference.
Beyond professional life, Jose is a husband and father of three, based in Düsseldorf, Germany. He is deeply interested in the intersection between technology, organizations, communication, and human behavior — and holds a strong conviction that storytelling, empathy, and strategic thinking are far more connected in modern leadership than most frameworks acknowledge.
He has also authored creative work, and his wife is a published author — a household where language, ideas, and narrative are taken seriously.

transformation, and leadership.
Perspectives on the realities of product, leadership, and transformation in international organizations.

Strategic Foundations

In international organizations, product strategy is rarely only about prioritization. More often, it is about alignment across cultures, teams, and different ways of understanding the same objective.
